(Web Desk) - Priyanka Chopra Jonas is reflecting on her role as a mom.

While chatting exclusively with PEOPLE about her partnership with Marshalls for its new Good Stuff Social Club, the actress, 41, also opens up about motherhood and how it is a journey filled with varying emotions.

When asked to detail how often she finds herself feeling overwhelmed as a mom, Chopra Jonas — who shares 21-month-old daughter, Malti Marie, with husband Nick Jonas — candidly says, "I think every day."

"I think when you put them to bed, it's extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make," she continues. "But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family."

"I look at [my daughter's] smile, and I'm like, 'Okay, okay. I'm doing good so far,' " she adds. "It's the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it's extremely scary."

Chopra Jonas and Jonas, 31, welcomed their first child together via surrogate on Jan. 15, 2022. She spent her first 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), making it home just in time for Mother's Day that year.

Back in January, Malti made her first public appearance with her mom and dad when she tagged along for the ceremony that honored the Jonas Brothers with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

There, the "Jealous" singer gave his wife and daughter a shout-out during his portion of the group's speech, saying, "To my beautiful wife, you are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm, and I love being married to you. It is the greatest gift. I love being a parent with you.

Malti Marie, I can't wait to come here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends."
